Fortifire Solutions Ltd continue to work alongside GMI Construction providing a full fire protection package for this speculative office development in Sheffield City centre.
Digital Campus – the biggest speculative office development in Sheffield city centre. GMI Construction are the contractors on this final eight-storey, 62.862 sq ft, Grade A ‘Endeavour’ office building designed by architects CJCT. The building which extends over seven floors and includes a private roof terrace on the sixth floor overlooking the city’s transport interchange, the iconic Park Hill Flats and panorama beyond.
The development, which has a GDV of £27m, will create up to 140 construction jobs and house up to 800 office workers when complete providing nearly a quarter of a million sq. ft of prime business.
Our scope of works was to provide:
- To supply & apply Intumescent paint to all steel structures.
- Install multiple pipe collars/wrap, fire barriers.
- Install fire acoustic intumescent sealant to top of block wall and expansion joints.
- Ablative coated batt and mastic to over 200 services penetrations.
- Fire compound to services risers.
- Install multiple cavity barriers.
- Rockwool Fire Pro approved products.
- Full O&M manuals and Fire Certification.
