We offer efficient, safe, cost effective and practical solutions for the protection of all internal, semi – exposed and fully exposed building steel structures against fire, including application of decorative finishes in a wide range of RAL colours. Our range offers both water based or solvent based intumescent paint solutions to accommodate application in all weathers.
The correct selection and the installation of fire stopping systems as tested are critical to ensure that the required fire protection of the fire compartment elements is maintained. With our wide range of product supply partners it allows us to offer the most cost effective solution for all elements to be fire protected which is then installed by our extremely experienced installers.
Fire barriers and curtains are available in mineral fibre plain faced and foil faced, and coated glass fibre curtains to achieve up to two hours fire protection. Mineral fibre fire barriers are normally 50mm thick and are hung vertically, continuously supported and secured at the head or soffit.
Intumescent pipe wraps and collars are applied to pipes which run through masonry or concrete walls and floors. In the event of a fire the intumescent material expands and will crush a PVC pipe stopping the spread of fire and smoke through the penetration.
An Intumescent Fire Retardant Acrylic Sealant is a one part, ready to use sealant designed for internal perimeter pointing of fire rated elements where the integrity of the fire walls or partition needs to maintained. Intumescent qualities enable the material to swell under heat conditions, producing a fire and smoke resistance seal.
Advanced fire protection boards and other performance boards have been developed to provide extra levels of protection to life and property in a range of demanding building applications. Fire board systems are used for encasing structural steel work, ductwork and walls and ceilings. Manufactured calcium silicate, gypsum, cement and mineral fibre achieves up to four hours fire protection.
